Abstract：Objective: To study the correlation between CT features and expression of MVD and Ki67 in renal chromophobe cell carcinoma(RCCC). Methods: CT was performed preoperatively in 15 patients with RCCC by pathology. MVD and Ki67 expression were determined by immunohistochemical PV9000 method in all patients. The correlation between expression of determined proteins and CT features in RCCC were studied. Results: The tumor boundary is correlated with increased expression of Ki67, but not correlated with MVD. The positive expression of MVD and Ki67 in RCCC tissue is significantly higher than those of normal kidney tissue. The positive MVD and Ki67 were significantly correlated with the diameter of the tumor, the morphology of tumor, the degree and the inhomogeneity of enhancement. Conclusion: The enhanced CT scan is reliable for RCCC preoperative diagnosis. Part of CT signs is associated with the expression of MVD, Ki67. They can indirectly show the biological behaviour and malignant extent of RCCC.
